These documents are a selection from Israel's modern history. They are a combination of speeches, government statements, UN resolutions, peace agreements and the like.

These documents are presented with two purposes; they represent a valuable source of information for Australian Christians who support Israel and who want to learn more about the Arab-Israel conflict; and they show that time and again, from the very first days of the conflict, Israel has called for peace with its neighbours, and Israel's neighbours have called for war with Israel.

The majority of the introductions were written by Dr. Meron Medzini, for Israel's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. ACSI acknowledges Dr. Medzini's invaluable effort in collating these documents over time. Some of Dr. Medzini's summary of major events in Israel's modern history can be found here, and complement this collection of documents.
