Holocaust Survivors

Dont worry I wont be making a habit out of posting ministry links but this one is close to my heart.

This ministry is all for Holocaust Survivors in Israel which sadly do not live in happy conditions.  This is a kindness ministry and the whole aim is to bless the survivors.  The special thing is that they are calling for Christians to adopt a survivor.  You can apply to be connected to a survivor which would include letter writing and perhaps sending a card for their birthday and Chunukah etc.

Personally I think it's fine for you to do so- that is certainly a relevant ministry. One of those little things you don't often realise.

And the International Christian Embassy in Jerusalem also has an Adopt a Holocaust Survivor Program.  Time is running out to help these aging survivors.

As well as financial help and care that they may need it is important that we can make sure the Holocaust and its ramifications are not forgotten. They need to know that the memories will not be forgotten. 

The most important thing would be if the world could learn never to repeat such horrific acts.
